Counting Days (Edit)
Day 57:
Alone.
There is no sound in the cave except what I create. The raggedness of my breath and the slight thumping of my heart. The movement of the shadows from my candle frightens me, until I slowly realize I caused the shadows to move myself. It’s a new day. A day like every other.
I force myself to get up; dragging myself across the room to the black machine I keep carefully concealed from the cave dust. I know what awaits me outside, and I shiver as I open the bag with trembling fingers.
I wind up the machine until its charge is full. I crawl back to my makeshift bunk and pull on all the wrappings I hav
There are lots of sounds in the huge building. Voices speak calmly over the intercom. The airplanes, landing, make more loud noises nearby.
There are people everywhere. All types of people. Some, look sleepy, walking unsteadily, from long flights. Men walk importantly, with their phones glued for one last phone call to their ears, suits flapping as they rush by. Families, walking slowly, come off of the planes, lots of luggage, the children clutching their backpacks.
Two girls walk by, their grandmother in a wheelchair. A young mother, sits with her young son, who is dozing. An older, fat man, walks slowly, but determinedly, towa
Thumps...
Carth Onasi was awoken by a thump. He looked down, but Revan was sound asleep beside him, her body warm against his. It was not she who had made the noise. He began to settle back down when the thumping came again. A strange loud thump, somewhere against one of the walls of the Ebon Hawk. He began to dismiss it once more when the third thump made him change his mind. Quietly, he left their room.
Treading silently, he walked through the corridors of the Ebon Hawk, pausing and listening. But now that he was up, there were no further noises.

I'm just stopping by to say hi. My life is so so so insane right now. I'm going to college, just for something cute, a ba in english. But because I've been homeschooled, it's such an interesting experience! I love it :) Although I'm happy I waited this long-I'm 24 now huhuhu-I feel a bit out of place with all the little kids I'm going to school with. Most of them just graduated high school, and some of them were born in 1994. What the heeeeeck I feel old....! What is sad is most of them don't even know why they are in college. The college I'm at is a private one, and the tuition is super expensive.
Tomorrow, I'm going to sit back, at the highspeed house of my friends, and catch up. I might just get lazy and delete some of those 4000 deviations, though.
Anybody seen the preview for the 6th doctor who season? It looks fantastic!
I'm finally going to get promoted, in, two months, it seems, I must go through a probationary manager thing...lame, but, I got a 50 cent raise to start it off! Can't wait for actual raise, I hope it brings me up to 12. :excited:
Tomorrow night my sister and I are going to watch a movie called Cyrano de Burgerac. I've seen pieces of it and I think it's going to be quite good. Plus it's black and white.
All this
I haven't been drawing very much, except for my fantastic fairy. :(
I have been working a fair amount of hours, often 48 hours a week.
I am learning tagalog, the main filipino dialect, slowly.
Umm...what else?
Is in a relationship.
Needs to work my sister's story.
Going to buy a trench coat soon. And some Japanese candy. And going to hear Handel's Messaih in concert. All in one weekend.
Feels tired from all the catching up I did with my deviations.
Yiyi!
Hi Venga. Remember me, Jimfiz? I've sign up to deviantart again, but under this new account. Doing only cartoons now, no more photography (on here anyway). How you doing?
I haven't been on deviantart very much for the past few months (boyfriend, what not ) but it's excellent to hear from you! I'll try to come back on here again soon, for sure.
